Context
Challenge
The meuDNA COVID product was created in a very delicate moment of a pandemic, with the aim of preventing and reducing the contamination of COVID-19 by providing self-collection tests on digital platforms and in partner pharmacies.
Position meuDNA as a safe information and testing center against COVID-19 in a pandemic moment, in addition to designing the product and service in a short time to deliver to as many people as possible.
Solution
MeuDNA COVID allows people with or without symptoms of COVID-19 to be tested for COVID in a practical and safe way , without depending on others for collection, in addition to showing ways to prevent and care against the disease regardless of the variant.
Behavior research
Based on the definition of the roadmap with the steakholders and the product team, a user behavior survey was carried out in relation to the beginning of the pandemic in order to know if there was a change in habits, and if so, what they were. With that, we sent a form in which the user could put their habits, desires, wishes for care and prevention.
The survey was applied in May 2020 through a questionnaire sent to our end users by email and had a total of 65 responses.

With the action points defined, the activities were organized, the service visualization map and the structure of the user journey were made, where we could understand the steps and teams involved in planning. In addition to creating opportunities for improvement in our products and services and refining our deliveries, as there is a cross relationship between the printed material for collection and our digital platform.

After the mappings, the feature definition, the construction of the user task and from these materials, the flow of the user experience in the application were made. With this, we scored the path of purchase, collection, activation, monitoring of tests and results of meuDNA COVID.
After defining the flow, wireframes were made in medium fidelity for usability tests and functionality validation, building a navigable prototype putting to the test the flow that we had defined as ideal, which we used with 5 users.

Visual
The visual definitions were based on the Design System already developed by our Design team together with the visual exploration of components already tested from our usability test.

Illustrations assets were also added to facilitate and bring more security regarding the understanding of reports, collections and sample submissions.
The creation of components was based on: consistency, ease and reproducibility. Thus, we managed to maintain not only visual compatibility, ease of understanding, but also its perpetuation within the product.
